My name is Amanda McDade and I am the face behind the lens or computer screen most days! I have had a passion for photography and design as long as I can remember. Most of my practice growing up was on my own crazy Italian family, capturing candid moments at family parties or vacations by the lake.

Family is my No. 1 in life and I know how special it is to have a photo frozen in time with the ones you love most. We're all so dang busy these days (including myself!) so taking a moment or an hour to slow down and embrace your loved ones is what it’s all about!

I currently reside in Rocklin, California with my husband, Buddy, two lovable labs Marsh and Georgia, and our newest family member Keith! We’re an outdoor family who loves lakes more than beaches and prefers a delicious home-cooked meal over a night out. I have been fascinated with art, design, and photography for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite past-times growing up was sitting down in front of the cabinet where all of the photo albums lived. I swear my mom had hundreds of albums for me to sift through! Page by page I would observe these images and was appreciative I could get a glimpse of life in the past. A glimpse into understanding what kind of people my parents and grandparents were and the life they lived - the stories they had to tell. Looking back at a moment in time is so special - It’s an opportunity to reminisce on good times and to tell a story - your story.
